I have to make this quick because I'm on my way to a hunger strike for the tibetans.

If I don't find two people to sign the lease to my house in the next week or so then I have to move out.
If anyone can help me out here, i would very much appreciate it.
I can give more details when I get back in a couple days.
love

has your landlord filed suit? if he hasn't you have more time than you think. I can almost certainly buy you a week or two (at the cost of being friendly with your landlord) but if you're gonna be fucked otherwise, you might as well.

What I meant was that I have to move out when the lease ends in June if I don't find two people to sign the lease with me in the next weekish. She's is not letting the other housemate sign for the year because he is looking to move out and was planning on subletting and she doesn't want a subletter, and she just told me (not even directly, through the other housemate) that I had to find replacements immediatly or she was replacing all of us. Which is insane because she sent us a Christmas card at the end of last year telling us how fantastic we had been as tenants, so I'm not sure why she is chasing both of us away. Any suggestions for all that crap?

an interesting thing about leases ending is that you do not have to be out by then. your landlord (in most states, you'll wanna look up PA) has to send you a certified letter a month before you would move out, and even then has to take you to court. under no circumstances can the landlord just come in and say you have to be out. that's a legal thing, and takes a few weeks at the very least.

i'd suggest reading http://www.thelpa.com/lpa/landlord-tenant-law/pennsylvania-landlord-tenant-law.html for any questions you might have. there's a lot of assumed things about landlord-tenant law that tend to be taken advantage of.
